Solace of Prayer

With every step I take, may I stay grounded

in the moment.

Can the winds sing the lyrics of Neruda's love for the

omnipotent. I give homage in day break as I do in the silver of

moon's glance.

Should I walk in an open field, will you allow for the hym

of solace to reach the celestial sky: a hue of hope for mankind?

May I taste the nectar from the honey of life,

knowing the source is you.

Can I ever rejoice with the sailing winds

the appreciatation of another day to make

ammends for a yesterday where I may

have forgotten the blessings?

I do not give you a name, a shadow

or a silhouette,

but I shall always give you thanks.
